It seems that ol cOOter and Chopper are once again getting the blame for general fukwittery on the new Ch4 repeater. Once again accusations being made without FACTS.
Im over it. I even heard someone, you all know who, say he was going to borrow some "RDF equipment" on his next day off to go stalking the "bad boys" on Ch4.
Ive used the new repeater once to TRY and talk to Rat Trap, one of the FEW decent CBers out there. Poor old Rat Trap gets stomped on for TRYING to clean the channel up, then some moron plays that idiot anthem of stupidity "We Cant be Beaten" over him everytime. Idiots.

I was pissing around on dead quite 03 before, yet the coward called Dimmock piped up there.
On an important note - Next freebie TV this week, 40" Sony for free. $2600 new 4 years ago model.
20 minutes to break it down and fix.

Fark, I just fucked my new Sony 40"
The LCD panel hangs from ribbon cables at the top, and is loose at the base allowing it to tilt forward off the backlight pane underneath easily.
An outer tin frame holds the lot in place.
When putting the outer tin frame back on I forget to check the LCD panel was sitting down flush.
Long story short. the bottom edges on both side were sitting 2mm over the lower rests.
When I tightened up the tin frame, the two bottom corner cracked.
I fixed the original problem no worries but now the cracked corners have spread across the bottom 1/6th part.
Bloody Nora, I wasn't even pissed! 
Ow well, live and learn.
Dire Straights on the small screen again tonight then.

Bugger! Cracked her. Ow well as you say treat it as a learning experience. I dont have a spare panel lying around sorry to say.. I have a 46 inch el cheapo LCD tellie here though, generic Chineese if'n yer find another like it and want to make one out of 2. I bought it off e-bay ages ago, tried to repair it and later found out tellie had been subject to lightning strike... oh well.

Arrrh, the bloody thing.
It has 10 watt speakers and sounds farking cool as well.
