I've been waiting for that Geek Girl to come squeeze some more juice out of my system.
She was a no show, so I had to do it myself.
The following is for comedy purposes. I know technology is way more advanced today compared to what's giving me a stiffy at the moment.

My old single core 1.8ghz AMD used as my music-video studio system has been screaming for an upgrade.

$33 for a DDR3 1GIG PCI-E VGA DVI HDMI card and 2 minutes later....
ASUS M2N-MX motherboard, socket AM2, 550watt power supply, case and 2GIG 533 DDR2 Ram (tip shop $20)

Before the upgrade I was getting only a score of 302
That single core 1.8ghz chip can be replaced with an Athlon 64 X2 5200+ - 2.6 dual core later when I find one the right price around $30 second hand.
In the mean time Nerd Girls are looking much better...
Can't wait to try the HDMI port out later as well

Hey thats not bad at all, how many bloody monitors you got hooked up there? I cant believe how cheap that card was, and with 1Gb ram on it, amazing, damn Chinese.
I got around to watching the 911 movie you posted for me ages ago, very interesting. I has some new angles on the stuff that Loose Change has, If nothing else it makes you wonder, especially Tower 7. I think I remember you saying that Tower 7 was the most questionable part.
My computer here is mostly my son's old cast offs, funny, it used to be the other way 'round lol. I have a mish mash of bits, I have an Asus motherboard, I actually bought that bit, a core 2 duo overclocked to 3.6GHz i got from Ron B. after an upgrade I did for him, 4Gb Ram and several hard disks from all over, the last one, a Hitachi 1Tb from last years BARCFEST for $30 brand new. My video card is an ATI HD4870 and the case is a flash one with a window in it and lights etc ex my son lol, oh and I had to buy a new power supply a while back, I got a modular 650 watt one was cheapish at Umart. lol Got a new monitor for my birthday last year, 24 inch Samsung LED one... we are NREDS... lol. Kristine just turned 40, ssshhh, and we all chipped in and bought her an iPad clone thing that runs Android, she loves it!

Hahaha, that HDD looks like a modern one I seen at Umart that does 10,000rpm.
Yeah, $33 for a 1GIG PCI-E blew me away. Anything AGP in the 1GIG size is $100 plus.
Don't you pick on my monitors. I have two eyes, so I need one for each. Now that I have a HDMI port on the PCI-E I'll be scouting around for a LCD screen to mount above the other two for my cock eye.

Anywho, I just won the bid on an AMD Athlon 64 X2 5200+ 2.6 GHz dual core for $41. It's second hand with a guarantee, but will do the job.
I've been looking for a cheap Athlon with the right build as some of them have two extra dormant cores.

I'd like to be doing private things as well, but this darn ex-laptop of DaVo's make hot gilrs look all squarem so no fap fap.
Talking about little motherboards, I'm gonna get a little one I seen last week that costs $40 au.
I forget the name of it, but it's the size of a smoke packet and is sold as a programing teaching tool for children.
It's about 512mhz and can load an OS like Linux. Runs off 5v and would be cool for the ute.
Even has HDMI.
Buggered if I can remember the name of it though, as I forgot to bookmark the page.

Well of course I have, Im a NERD!
Pretty cool, theres also the Arduino series, can get those from Jaycar as well as other places, and the "Maximite" which is a kit by Silcon Chip magazine. I have the Ardunio clone made in Australia by FreeTronics called the EtherTen, got it for Xmas pressie last year from in laws. Still buggering abot with it, its a fun thing for sure.
