How are we supposed to arrange an Uber Cooter Cab without a repeater ??

I am even starting to miss the truckies and roadworkers rubbing and   on the uplink

Years ago I found Gary's mobile online, so it's no secret
as he uses it for work in the  communications industry.

I'd suggest others call or send him a polite sms ...

1. point out the repeater is down (he knows, but bug him anyway)
2. ask him for an ETR (estimated time of repair)
3. give him your first name or call sign so he knows you're not cooter
4. don't mention cooter, other wise he'll probably ignore you (we have a history)
5. let him know a dozen or so in the community rely on it being on
6. leave your caller id on so he can reply back

ACMA law says CBRS repeaters have to be ... "continuous operation".

The owners get a month or so leeway to do repairs.

If it's off that long I'd go to the trouble and pull my
13m pole down (it's a bugger) and swap the directional yagi
for a 360 degree vertical.

The govt "sold" him the site to run his commercial taxi radios and such
