I was in Southport last night making sure no aerials where on that house
in Spencer street (and there were none) while some big signals were
going on.

While in the area, with my car radio on 03, and my hand held
with no aerial on 33 (1km range max) I busted Ivan (I could hear him
clean as day in the BG on 33) button pushing over Dimmock
and continuously keying the repeater to drone that tone on and on.

As I drove past on that main street, I beeped my horn.

He didn't sound real strong tonight, a bit vague and not his usual bright as a button Superman self.

The 11th is on a Wednesday. I was thinking a Saturday the 14th
meet up at his place - I'll bring extra chairs, chocolate mud cake
and soft drinks.

His outside grass court yard is plenty enough room for a dozen or so.

Not many folks on CB gonna be 92 this year.
Would be cool if all could come and make his day
