And life rolls on

I forgot to tune in. Did you ring him, DaVo?

[King_DaVo]

Did ya do  a shout out to your gay lover, Elton from Bundaberg?

Got Kaos old vertical fixed. SWR is 1.2 but it's internals are about a foot shorter.

I got sick of trying to add new material, so I went the other way. It's probably a 5db instead of a 6db now

I was going to try the collinear Chopper has the plans for, but those 4 radials at the bottom have me stumped.

Since the ACMA have finally acknowledged us, I've laid off the other plans for the moment.

Worse case Chopper, that new dodab is worth good pizza $$ on eBay.

Fark, and I've ditched Pizza Hut for Domino's lately.
They have the same $4.95 everyday pizzas, and also have prawns on the menu unlike Pizza Hut.

I tried their God Father pizza,

I usually get hot toppings like chilly, but the GF was a nice change

Update: Gold Coast channel ABC 03 and even channel ABC 05 emergency are back on.

Good onya, Gary.

[King_DaVo]

Yeah for what its worth, thanks Gary.  At least its back online which is a big step forward.  Repeater has increased in signal points to multiple stations and is stronger then ever signal wise.

BUT unfortunately, there is a serious issue currently where there is intermod in the form of a "reverb" effect and feedback coming through the transmission.  Channel 03 and 05 also seem to be linked and having problems with each other causing an echoing feedback noise and carrier to be present which is horrible.   Stations that speak on 03 are also coming through on 05 in a horrible mangled mess of audio and feedback.  While Gary is 600km away from the coast currently,  we hope that this can be rectified asap because it is pretty bad.

[Dim Sim]

Thanks Gary for getting it back on but i thought you may have got it right while you or who ever were up there fixing and then not being 600klms away from the coast after it was switched on, By the way may i ask why it wasnt fixed 100% did you not have the time or was it to keep the ACMA off your back and be able to be selfish and keep your licence. Next licence to be made available must be channel 4 as it appears that Chappo may only want the licence to upset people and nothing else

[cOOter]

G'day DimSim

I just checked the ACMA data base. Chappo doesn't own any CBRS llicenses anymore.

249 and his repeater gear have a clear run on the South coast map.

Have a good weekend.
