Mrs Chopper got very excited. We had a visitor today.

I bought a sling shot yesterday. Turns out the

No quad core computing power?
How is your power supply? Commonly fail after an upgrade like yours as the current requirements go up and a previously ok PSU cant handle the extra load. I have a couple lying around here I think. is back again, comes over at least once a day to check out our yard for tasty morsels.

Thought of the PSU, but it's been working OK the last few weeks on the el'cheapo 500 watter from Umart.
I think the GTS250 upset it Blame DaVo. He told me to put it into the quad box Anyways, never buy FM1 sockets as they are buggers to get boards for. I have another one coming. Shed dual core is now temp music van rig downstairs 2nite - so enjoy 'no gig' Dimmock big noting himself on 03. LOL, with me new Samsung SSD 120gig card, the dual core I got from old mate next door is booting XP in 42 seconds 2 nite. (usually 120 seconds)

The Samsung SSD's are the go alright.
I have one as my boot disk with Win 7 on it, doesn't boot as quick as yours or Davos, but I have 10 tons of crap running on my 'puter, well according to my son anyway!
