What carrier are you with?

Some of the network locked moderns like the
Telstra MF65 can be unlocked easily enough.

Second hand ones on eBay are dirt cheap.

How long before that new cell tower is built?

The only service that works there is Telstra 4G. Not sure when they will have the new tower built but I reckon it will be 4G by the time its done

Ow I forgot the 4G.

Would be good if the trail cams could also connect
to the internet via wifi like the IP cams do,
then you'd only need one sim card in
one hotspot router for them all.

Unfortunately the tree cams cant wifi so need their own sim card

The 2 cheap ones I ordered never turned up - surprise surprise...........

I got a refund and bought a wifi cam instead. It should be here next couple days

Only small population in the area - mostly grey nomads passing through

If I have some photos of the perp or perps I can take them to the pub - someone will tell me who it is.
