If running these from a 12-13.8v battery, what size resistor would you recommend be placed on each one?

Looks a lot like them.
Im running 3 or 4 of them from one of those electronic "transformers" (actually a switching power supply) that suits the 50 watt incandescent ones. it puts out 12 volts exactly, but on the side of the LEDS I'm pretty sure it says 14 volts AC.
Either way they work fine and are BLOODY bright!
If Im ok tomorrow, Ill stick one straight on a car battery and measure the results.

Yeah actually i have some of those low heat / power LED lights for commercial and house applications here somewhere, i was given them to sample! Will bring them around cooter and you could utilize them i reckon for more lighting in the shack etc.. Have one that would be an awesome work light too but needs some sort of mount made up...
