I had another look. Ok, it's the video camera I think. There's a bit of red in the blue, so it looks a bit purple.

He's still in a wooden cigar box up the back shed (eewww) waiting to be buried in dry ground.

Poor little guy  , pets lives are so short. I know 10 years plus is a good run for a budgie, and it's obvious he had a good home. I just wish their lives were longer

LOL, I was just in your street at number 26 picking up a free computer desk, chair and 17 inch HP vp17 monitor.

I'm using that new monitor now and Mr Blue does look a bit like, Mr Purple.
