However I cant understand why the facts:-

A: Martin Bryant stole his firearm from his father (allegedly)
and
B: Semi automatic rifles such as the one used were already illegal to own in Tasmania
   
-  were never questioned or mentioned in the decision to disarm the community.

As for the citizens open carry - I love the idea dont get me wrong....
