AMD power hungry PC is going into semi retirement.
Dual core is working jiggy jigy, King Davo!
Cant get the USB 3 ports to work through. Is there a password? "fap fap fap"? 
I put the 1TB hard drive in it from the caddy. 80gig is going on the shed compac. All worked out jiggy.
Heaps of room now for  titty girls and Japanese grand-prix.
Aleinware laptops are for fap fap munchkins.

Yeah that would be a sweet litttle machine now, i would make that your primary system as its probably the best one you have now. Plus battery is fairly good on it so its sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet!! It was really fast with 2gb ram before and its not much slower now really. Runs very well i must admit! i would dare say its as fast if not faster than your family box Acer quad core junk because yours is running XP. NOT sure about the USB3.0 ???
P.S how did that support pipe come out that we painted in the dark and hanging on a G string ? bahahahaha

It's ok, I went...
start, run, cmd, password, c:/fap fap fap /start
USB 3 is working now. Bluetooth, HDMI and a serial port grew out the side as well.
You'll have ta get someone else to look at ya G string, as I'm a pussy man

Well, got the new programming laptop today and it did the job very well. Was able to prog the Tait radio using the genuine 9 pin serial port. Woohoo!

I keep a coupla old lappies and even a desktop with ISA ports lying around for much the same reasons. ISA ports for old Winradio and EPROM programmer, serial and parallel ports for stuff like programming things.

Hey Chopper, speaking of old, i have an old beast radio in the cupboard that id like to get out and running and chappo is the only one i know that has the gear to prog it. reckon you could try and ask Chappo if you could borrow the cable and software etc.. so we can try do it ourselves ? He is way too busy to do it i think unless i wait for years..

What sort of radio is it DaVo? Might have the gear myself  havent seen Chappo in ages, hes a busy bugger!
