Fark, four days at 20kb/s are over at last.
Next door neighbor had Telstra phone problems,
so a tech came around mid-day Friday and fixed their
issues but fricked ours at the same time.
15 minutes before the Telstra dude knocked on our
door today, our dial tone was restored.
Chinese Telstra dude claimed he didn't do anything.
When asked who was going to be billed for his
time to park and knock on our door, he said
Exetel-Optus (our mob).
Fricking typical Telstra - they fuck something up
on Friday, then charge others a fee on Monday,
while we had to go without for four days.
So without Boobtube, I had to watch TV last night.
60 Minutes trailer had a story coming up about "reboot of the nerds".

So I sat and waited. Fricking hell, they praised a
kid for simply puling a tablet apart and making a version
others can put back together. A second kid
was praised because he made a remote
sensor that emailed his mom when the mail man
dropped a letter in the home mail box.
Doesn't the mail man come at the same time each day?
Fark, what's next, an email when the trash guy comes?
Fark, poor old

didn't miss out.
His young grand daughter has his house bugged with
wifi cameras to watch him in his jocks.
Another group of pre-teens were praised for
carrying RFID chips to log themselves into
and out of class. Geez, give 'em 5 years
of indoctrination and they'll beg to
be implanted like animals with implantable chips.
I cant believe the crap 60 Minutes palms
off as new initiative inventions and "rebooted" inventors.
The same show in China or Japan
on the same topic would be vastly
different.
Geez we're falling behind, and our media
thinks it's all a praise worthy report card.
Makes me fricking sad if that's the best we have to show off.
Ow well, I gots the internets back now so I
don't have to turn that outdated programming crap on
and watch "mental illness" fricked up adverts.
60 Miniutes was giving me mental illness after only 30 minutes.
