Shit, I almost bought a 2.0 last month - that would have been a waste of dosh.

I was watching the latest US version of American Restoration (lol Rick Dale got axed)
last night and got half excited over a...cough. F, err, ord!.

427 cubes putting out 700 plus horse power from this 1963 and a half (that's what they call it) even
makes this Holden lover take note - don't like the wheels one bit through.

Geez, I think I need therapy  Tard

Then I walked up the back shed and had a look under the tarp on me bro's current project..

..and all seem's well again in Holden country...well until I seen the engine..

Free pack of chewy  Wood_chop if ya can guess what this turboed Isuzu donk is sitting in.

That's a nice looking yank tank. Looks a lot like the XM Falcon 2 door I used to own.

Mine was a 1964 model, but with a 170 cube six and "Ford O Matic" 2 speed auto  Tears

Yes those red wheels are horrible, white with those chrome trim rings would be better and would suit the age of the car.

Looks like a Galaxie maybe?

That Isusu motor looks like its in a rather old car, maybe an old Holden like an EH?

Yes a 1963.5 Galaxie

Sshhh, vid link (ad-blocker is must have) http://thewatchseries.to/episode/america...7_e10.html

And no, not the HR, but the bro's 2 door HB Turd runner.

I cant believe he replaced the original 4cyl donk with a Jap engine.  Jack Brabham would
have a heart attack https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holden_Torana#HB

I don't know what I'd ride in now, that Ford poo box or a hybrid Holden rice cooker.  Debilos-1

Might  Walk instead.

Radios been dead - I've had it on, but don't feel like arguing with excrement much anymore.

Oi, 250,000 views (= $$$) over a simple coax video.

1 million views is about $6,000, thus $1,500'ish for 250K  Tongue1

Come on  Wood_chop we need to mine your brain for nerdy things to make big buck videos about.

When you got some man time, I need your help.

Made a basic looped 12 bar in E track recently, but it needs bass and drums to get it moving.
http://www.wikiloops.com/backingtrack-jam-67337.php

Would be fun getting ya on bass and adding ya in the mix.

Nothing scary - ya only need to play three open E beat notes which takes about 3 seconds.
That sample can then be transposed from E to, A and B (notes in the E 12 bar)
and looped for the rest of the song. And or live all the way through.  Band

First up, I gotta say I used to be a fan of the following band, so
up front, I'm not posting this to have a dig at any Kiss fans reading here. (Black Bean, Chopper etc)

Today I was looking into Muslim stuff and rock musicians that are outspoken
about Islam - enter Jewish guy Gene Simmons.

While trying to find a video of Gene I seen maybe 4 years ago of him
out in the desert feeling his religious Jewish roots, I kept coming
across uploads today of some audio tape books supposedly from the band.

I'm currently listening to Paul Stanley describe Peter Criss.

Any drummers out there need some motivation -- have a listen to how bad Peter Chris was according to Paul Stanley.

I read a few year back somewhere, on Wiki I think, that all four members were Jewish.

Turns out that was wrong - only Simmons and Stanley are.

The other two supposedly didn't mind Hitler etc...LOL, geez,
the funny stuff I learn as I get older about the stuff I used to
think was..well. Anyways, interesting listening hearing how
successful bands either work together or not.

I never knew drummers offered a kind of padding for the others
to "lay back on" (Stanley) But as is told, lack of skill Chris didn't offer that.

Getting pissed night tonight - might have to crank up some Dynasty
(only album I ever owned) and see if I can keep up with Peter Chris.

Just sent Gary an sms about the busted repeater. (that no job, no signal, piss-weak Dimmock blames me for)

The rest is up to him  Doctor

The thing works if ya drop a carrier (and or talk) for a few minutes warming the repeater radios
up. I'm no tech, but it would seem like a shitty relay, "dieload" or a MB solder crack or something
that gets better once hot.

Get a life, and get out of mine, Dimmock.
