To anyone curious to try it sometime go for the herb and garlic marinade roo
Available in both kebab and steak form, the marinade makes it a bit more palatable.
Contrary to what the aboriginals do, if its cooked very well done
(take all the pink out of it until its a uniform grey in colour)
it will become very tender and very delicious
Tricky part is trying to cook it enough and still keep some juices in
Cooked rare its way too tough - try slicing the steaks into thinner pieces and cook on high heat.
Very low in fat and environmentally friendly (roo is not farmed like cattle or sheep)
very reasonably priced and gluten free its sure to be a hit with anyone at dinner.
And dont worry about Skippy - she always knew she would one day be eaten
even:
or hit by a car......
