ACMA law says CBRS repeaters have to be ... "continuous operation".
The owners get a month or so leeway to do repairs.
If it's off that long I'd go to the trouble and pull my
13m pole down (it's a bugger) and swap the directional yagi
for a 360 degree vertical.
hasn't answered me yet, so I'm not sure what to do.
The govt "sold" him the site to run his commercial taxi radios and such
from, but on the proviso he kept the original channel 5 and 3
repeaters running as well.
One night about 6 years ago he and I had a 90 min talk
over-air about it all. He's probably kicking himself for that now days.
Local home bases should be OK, but those on hand helds and others like Wazza
yonks away are effected. Come on
Look out, Mud Crab just joined.
Mud Crab copy!!!
