I was a bit off Chopper - it wasn't 32hz, rather 41hz.
The 12 bar we were doing tonight was, 55hz (aka A), 73hz (aka D), 82hz (aka E)
Your show off open string finish, was 41hz (aka E)
Funny thing with the music scale, the frequency 41hz and 82hz are the same "E" note, but one 'octave' apart. (aka up one pitch)
Same happens for all other notes.
The number of standardized notes used in a full western scale is 12.
A, A#, B, C, C#, D, D#, E, F, F#, G, G#
Yet the number of frequencies is many more.
When I'm pissed I find more frequencies on the guitar than 12, but I forget to name them with silly custom alphabet names.
Down with alphabet jargon,
up with frequency speak
