Put six aldi rechargeables in and went to sit it in the charger.

The fucking thing has no charger contacts 

Who the frick builds a battery box and leaves the charger contacts out? 

Glad the refund came through last Friday.

Looks like the big battery I have on mine - but without charger contacts.
Mine has a charge port on the side at the top - check if yours may have this as well   
Otherwise you will need to buy an Aldo battery charger machine and charge out of the radio

See you got the old no contact no way to charge battery, I remember getting one of them and throwing it in the fire, that was the last i ever got angry with it.
