I feel sorry for Mr David Dimmock.
After spending the entire day of 28.02.17 calling out on channel 5/35 emergency channel with no reply ("Andy-Pandy roots Rodney" @ least 6 times between 11am & 8pm) he takes to the only refuge he has left - 2m amateur band to talk to all his friends there.
@ 9.30pm an EchoLink times out on the 2m Springbrook repeater...you know that one where all Dimmock's friends are? The automated voice says "node *blah blah* has disconnected" to which David replies "Thank God For That."

This is a person that refers to himself as "THE Devil" and yet he thanks God.
Maybe he should thank God that people on 2m aren't allowed to say the way the really feel about Dimmock...who has a Foundation license, so they just give him radio checks and put up with him but don't engage in any further discussion.

So I kinda feel sorry for Dimmock and understand why he needs to come onto CB to insult people and block them out. He has no power elsewhere, and must feel totally dead inside being rejected after the Dick Smith thing...and has no drumming gigs as he's always on radio Friday & Saturday nights.

He's all alone in his parents unit, his faithful dog passed away (or probably committed suicide) - a dwindling bank account, hair & body weight loss...but he's got a few nice amplifiers that restore his sanity.

Well, that's my semi-serious/bullshit armchair psychologist opinion...after a bottle of scotch :-)
