If the diplexer had failed altogether then yes it would be 100% of the time

Timeline...

Originally to me, the output radio was going from 99 down to 60 - and then fixing itself and going back to 99 at night.

Now output is OK around the clock, but the input radio is going off intermittently...drum roll...only at night.

Thanks.  She is okay,  no major damage thank God.   She be right in a few days.    


There was a night there where someone was up at the repeater when it was off for a period and then when it came back on it was back to full signal operation and Vince could use it once again.  Ever since that we have had this new issue.
Yes that is correct but the repeater is playing up randomly both during the day and night although at night time it seems to stay off for a period of time rather than just random.   I have been told by day time users that sometimes they cannot open the repeater during day as well but its less frequent..    

Hopefully its not a major thing otherwise it will stay like that longer the more involved it is id say.  Fingers crossed the his say Mid May comes through for us!  


P.S  Just spoke to Garry on the phone and he said it seems to be the antennas.  Antenna used are 10 years old and condensation is most likely getting in and affecting.   He will attend to it next week and will get new antennas hopefully!!       Dammit it just shut down again now 4pm,  has to be more than antennas but as long as its fixed we happy!
