DIY HDTV Antenna
#1
Been using one of those 10 or so element yagi TV antennas the last zillion years but could never get channel 2 ABC.

I made one of these today and now I get every fricking channel crystal clear.  Chicken

The dude mounts his one onto a wood backing which is crap for outdoor use.
I mounted mine onto a ridged plastic backing (pics coming soon)

Wish UHF CB antenna  were this easy to make.

Works?

I had a pair of powered $40 bunny ears from Dick Smith and they wouldn't pick up any ABC channels at all.

The new coat hanger aerial picks up flipping everything. I think I'm getting some NZ channels as well.  Icon_cheers
