Might as well have a dedicated thread for Gold Coast CB repeater updates.
(thread currently public view-able)
As of this week, ABC03 is back on after three months off, but still sounds like death.
ABC05 is still on, never went off, but has no station ident (illegal) and is emergency use.
Both are still at the same location.
Both aren't listed on the ACMA data base anymore. (expired)
But the two taxi repeaters and one construction business repeater,
at the same address are still listed on the ACMA data base.
Gary Grevis isn't listed on the ACMA data anymore, for CB, or commercial activity.
As it seems Grevis is no longer associated with the commercial repeaters at the site, it might be safe to assume he's let it all go to someone else, or the ACMA stepped in and kicked him out.
Who do we contact about 03 still playing up?
Who wants to ring Grevis and ask the question? (I'm out of booze for few days)
If the site is unattended, then
even: thinks we should put our hands up.I can't see that being an option.
Trouble is, three businesses still have their gear running at the site.
Any thoughts?

Nobody else wants it. It has been said here before - why would anyone licence a public repeater?
Channel 5 has been fixed back to like it was as it is reachable from handheld again
There is a possibility just through pure fluke that I may have a secret side door to
but I have gotta approach it very carefully.... cant say too much here but I will see what I can do
It must be currently seeking a new owner otherwise it would be listed on the ACMA database
Plus nobody would run something that sounds like it does at the moment

the roadworkers were interfering with 3 this morning but I havent heard anything for a while
I wonder if the new owners (whoever they may be) are fixing it or have just turned it off
