Re: Im back unfortunately - Thunderbird - 17-11-2013 That Suzuki looks pretty good, might just have to investigate. No the CV joint etc is fine, thanks again, the leak is from pretty much everywhere else, ALL of the seals are bad, just old and brittle. Add to that, the car has 300,000 plus K on it and is getting to the point EVERYTHING needs fixing or replacing. Like front struts, engine mounts, exhaust system.... Old Laser should be ok until Xmas is over then its time to formulate a plan, maybe that idiot Abbott will be gone by then with any luck as well. Bottom line is Abbott made it so that he declares that a person needs $1500 a month minimum to live, and yet he only pays pensioners etc around $1200 a month, its law, apparently, and so no one by law can loan pensioners and other low income earners money, except the "knee cappers" like Motor Finance Wizard. Google them if you want to read some true horror stories about some poor buggers that are stuffed maybe for life because of scum like them. So if you know any pensioners, students, or people out looking for work or have a part time job, tell them to hang on to any credit cards they may have for emergencies. So if old Mrs Pensioner needs a new hot water system because the old crusty one shit itself, good luck and hope she has some hard earned savings, because Abbott just fucked any plans for credit to buy a new one, let alone if she needed a "new" as in used car, because the old one is cactus. Sort of lucky for me, my mum doesn't drive anymore otherwise Id be a lot angrier than I already am. She had to borrow money a while back to buy her mobility scooter thing she uses to go to the doc and stuff for example. They aren't cheap for decent ones, same as any of that kind of thing like wheel chairs and the like, a mate paid $7000 for his special electric wheel chair. So far I haven't been able to actually find a copy of this law but I'm assured it exists, there's a job for Detective cOOter, find this "law"?

Lucky I didn't, otherwise the bubble would've been covered in hail damage. at least the grass will be longer soon.

Fark, I was almost going to use McDonalds free wifi today but ny ISP came back. Pity that Maccas free WiFi is usually really slow as people hog the thing, at least anytime I've tried to check my e-mail on it its been that way. Pensioners get $300 a week? Sign me up. I'm old and making less than that ![]() Yes it sounds better than it is, truth is when you have to pay electricity, rego, insurance, rates, water and maintenance let alone food, it doesn't go far at all, hence why my pensioners live in the cold and dark, ask my mum for example, she is retired used to be a nurse and worked all her life from the age of 14 paid taxes for countless years and now lives in poverty due to no cause of her own. She was forced a few years ago to stop work as when she was working, alone, in intensive care, a big fat lady asked her to move her in her bed so she was more comfortable, so mum did it on her own, she worked night shift, and blew her back out permanently as a result. And her reward for decades of service to others? Pain and poverty, and her superannuation was stolen but that's another story. Doesn't matter anyway, why should a pensioner have to beg and consider knee capper lenders because they need for example, a mobility scooter? Its not right. Playing devils advocate - how is a broke (they just moved the debt ceiling to $500B) government supposed to pay top dollar? Personally I don't give a fuck, ask the greedy power company CEO's or the Bank CEO's who get multimillions a year for ripping people off. The government fully supports this as well, ever since privatisiation came in. I guess they could start by stopping millions being "gifted" to Indonesia each year. Farking scum bags - we're in debt to commie China, yet we're the ones that give away money to Indonesia, Papua etc.. that the Aussie tax payers has to pay back at interest to the commies...the same commies buying up Australian land and assets. Mostly the money going to the likes of Indonesia is because there are 200 plus million of them, mostly Muslim, and they hate us and consider Australia part of Asia. Same for China, but more and worse. Papua NG is different, they are our buddies and need our help, and deserve it as well. Anyways...DaVo's right about fuel use on an auto, but the fuel bill from a 1.6lt 4 cyl to a 1lt 3 cyl wouldnt be a worry. 3 cyl redo is cheaper to. 6.6 ltr per 100km for an auto.. http://www.redbook.com.au/cars/research/used/details/1991-suzuki-swift--100167?R=100167&Silo=spec&Vertical=car&Ridx=9&eapi=2 Yes those little cars do well on petrol alright, even the autos. The 1.3ltr,s go very well though. ![]() Cooter get a Jumbuck!
