Thumb dials - cOOter - 26-02-2018 Chopper copy ![]() Bulldog's trying to track down an old school "thumb dial" Something about a,b,c,d,e,f and 16 something or anothers. It's for a 4 band amp he's trying to fix. He cant find anything on ebay with the "thumb dials" search term. Do you know the right part code, term, and or know where he could get one at all? Re: Forum Chat - Thunderbird - 26-02-2018 Sounds like it might be a hexadecimal one. I will check my suppliers and see what's what. A lot of people these days are using an Arduino or similar instead of old fashioned thumb dials. sssshh But I had a set on both my Grant and my GE SSB radios, well until the ACMA told me off. ![]() ![]() Re: Forum Chat - Thunderbird - 26-02-2018 Ok found some. Bloody expensive though. http://au.rs-online.com/web/p/thumbwheel-switches/4250142/ ![]() Re: Forum Chat - Thunderbird - 26-02-2018 Some info that may be of help to search for alternatives. http://www.omron.com.au/service_support/FAQ/FAQ02201/index.asp ![]() Re: Forum Chat - cOOter - 26-02-2018 Cheers Chops |
