Son has pinched my spare Dell XPS PSU I scored for $1 for his XPS, says it works fine for Uni, but not gaming.. then he needs his bug gun one
hahaha Come on Chopper, its great fun and gives a bucketload more grunt! Thats not bad for an old core 2 duo. Biggest reason for me doing this is that i run a "desktop" 6 core CPU in my laptop.. Sshhhh, don't tell anyone.

cOOter could get porn just that bit faster. :laughing7:Son just upgraded his own pC at Xmas, bought i7 lots of Ram, SSD etc, I got his old video card an NVidia gtx460, and Ive got a cast off e8400 Core 2 and 4 gigs of 1066 ram, plus the SSD I got for Xmas, so far games run fine, video renders fine, but when I saw my sons PC boot and run, I want more now dammit!

Chopper, I got my main PC going again.
There are two 16v capacitors near the hard drive bays I re soldered to check
for dry / cracked joints from bumping parts in and out while pissed, and hey presto,
baked beans on Moses's toast, it's stay on now.

Yeah a laptop is easy to take apart and its just bits and screws, but i have no clue about circuit boards and stuff. My finger is a bit yummy atm though its finally coming down. Was so sore but, i was on the Forte! But yeah i guess im a Jnr Nerd, Still on Learners permit..
