Re: Forum Chat - cOOter - 11-02-2017

caught sight of the first two way looking ad on the home page tonight.

dang, with all the bad index.php keywords like titties, beer, bands, drunks,
trolls, poofs, gurus, dieloads, etc, I didn't think they'd find anything CB on here.

geez, been on the fruity and feel like a big  :dimmockturd:

So I get a working bent shaft Stihl FS36 whipper snipper (aka strimmer) for The Bush  (aka ConfusedevenSmile

Runs sweet, as long as ya mix the fuel at 25:1 (Bush was gonna go 40:1)

But the little plastic three blade head didn't do it for him  Davodick

I found a brand new twin line bump head on gumtree for $20 and posted a link here.

Whoops, right brand but wrong model, so I deleted the post. Not fast enough though.

Turbo Bush got all excited  Toothy3 anyways and went and bought the new bump head.

Did the Bush blow $20 on the wrong part?

Yes.

Lucky for The Bush, he has a buddy with a backyard full of weeds and parts hiding under them.

I braved a jungle of singapore daisy and file snakes to find the holy grail.

The straight shaft works with your new bump head, Bush.

for the older FS36?

if so, they have no idea what they are talking about and should sun tan naked with  :dimmock: on a hot NT rock out in the bush.

Re: Forum Chat - number7 - 15-02-2017

couldnt find any year model or age of this instruction manual so yer maybe its for a newer model

Il feed it 25:1 as recommended by the service agent

Re: Forum Chat - cOOter - 15-02-2017

Geez, I'm wrong from the offical PDF file. Old Ryobi's were all 25:1 for sure.

I've never fouled a plug at 25:1 on that model, so a bit of extra oil in fresh fuel
is added protection against overheating, ring wear, and demonic  :dimmock: creatures.

It's always better to be a little over than under.
I always look for a slight bit of blue smoke at full revs to shows it's lubing goodly.

Newer ones would be 50:1 for sure, as they want them to over heat
and stuff up sooner. Outboards are 50:1, but they have the added
advantage of water cooling.

Fark, tis' getting close to fruity o'clock.
Gave Aldi the flick today and bought some real meat from IGA.
Better get dinner rolling as well.

Bush Cutter Update - number7 - 15-02-2017

Mowing Mowing Mowing Mowing Mowing

ok so now I have experienced the 3 little plastic blade cutting system on this machine - its no good    Sad5

makes a weird noise, acts like a fan to blow up dust (very dusty here) cant do edges without damaging the blades and too small cutting area.

motor started first pull and ran beautiful until it ran out of fuel. After a pit stop, refuel and a few pulls on the cord the plug fell out    Icon_cyclops_ani

its ok I have tools i can just put it back in - iv done that now it wont start. Had to finish my bush maintenance with a borrowed 4 stroke honda thing - how boring is a 4stroke whipper snipper???     Confusedleepy4:

sounds like a postie bike and has no sweet 2stroke smell.... Evil6

anywho   c00ter copy...  Desk_mic   might need a bit more help here........      Confusedeven:

Re: Forum Chat - cOOter - 15-02-2017

ya broke it already  Debilos-1

i'll bring a new rope with me.

we'll get access to the pull started when the shafts get swapped over anyway.

dont pull it apart otherwise you might screw something else up

:vasfag:
