Trying to resurrect a 1983 vintage Commodore 64, Made in England believe it or not!



Had to make up a naked Cockroach Turbo ROM for testing

wooooooooooooooooooooohooooo!    That is one serious speed demon!        Naaa,  those things are cool to stuff around with still these days.   They were before my time but i have had a play with a couple and its cool none the less especially to the computer nerd.  I think the old 64 would still be a little powerful for that cooter.   lol         Would like to say a big Thanks once again to Chopper for your Atomic Pc upgrade today, you are a legend!   And good to catch up with both you and Cooter also.   Will see uz soon!  

P.S   We need to do Project Thousands of volts for Prod jab in the nose . . .  .   Ssshhh

I haven't found my box 'O C64 disks yet, but Im hoping stroker is in there, otherwise Ill have to investigate downloading a copy and working out how to transfer it from my PC to the old C64

Im making up the XMP1541 cable as I haven't spotted any of the required transistors lying around in my junkbox, but have plenty 'O diodes.

Jaycar sell the 6 pin DIN plugs and DB15 plugs and sockets.

There even an ISO file on the site for a DOS based boot disk to transfer ya files, all you need is a PC with a parallel port, you know, the old school "printer" port!

So, forget about your CB worries, who made what go bang, what religion is the best (hint: none) and dust off your C64 for the upcoming stoke off!
